National Yacht Club
A partnership proposal to bring Sail Canada certified liveaboard cruising courses to National Yacht Club — based in Prince Edward County.
Sail Canada certified cruising school — liveaboard education in two of the best sailing grounds in the Americas.
Based in Prince Edward County (PEC) — the heart of eastern Lake Ontario's cruising waters. Our students learn through multi-day liveaboard passages: island hopping, sheltered coves, and waterfront villages.
We also run courses in The Exumas, Bahamas — giving students the option to learn in the Caribbean at a fraction of the usual cost. Every course is capped at 4 students for truly hands-on instruction, from Basic Cruising all the way through Advanced.
Most clubs offer strong beginner programs — but intermediate cruising education remains underserved across Lake Ontario.
A partnership with Happy Sailing adds variety and depth to your educational offering — filling a gap that's difficult to deliver in-house.
We'd love to understand your membership goals, what you're hearing from members, and where they want to grow. This presentation is a starting point — we want to build something that fits your club's specific needs.
Condé Nast Traveler named PEC a top destination in North America for 2026 — and featured Happy Sailing in the article. Variable conditions, island hopping, sheltered coves, and charming waterfront villages.
Happy Sailing operates as an extension of your club's educational program, serving as your satellite campus in Prince Edward County.

Six reasons this partnership works for your club and your members.

We focus on multi-day liveaboard cruising education. Real passages, real conditions — experience your members can't get from classroom courses.
