Set Sail: A youth sailing program for ages 14–17

A Real Sailing Program for Young Sailors

Junior Skippers is a structured youth sailing program designed for teens aged 14–17 who want to develop real sailing skills. Over 6 days spread across 3 weeks, students learn the fundamentals of keelboat sailing through 30 hours of hands-on training on Lake Ontario.

Led by a certified Sail Canada instructor, participants work toward their Sail Canada Basic Crew Standard certification — a nationally recognized credential that opens the door to future sailing courses and adventures.

Sessions run from our base at Historic Picton Harbour in Prince Edward County. Small class sizes (maximum 6 students) ensure every participant gets meaningful time at the helm.
