We set sail from Historic Picton Harbour, the heart of PEC. Our Lake Ontario courses take place in the protected waters of the Bay of Quinte and the scenic reaches of the lake, offering the perfect environment for building confidence on the water.
Start Keelboat Sailing
Also known as Crew Competency — a focused 2-day course covering theory and practical skills to become a competent crew member. Learn the ropes, literally, in a hands-on environment.
Basic Cruising
Perfect for adults who want to learn to sail larger boats. Covers essential sailing skills including sail trim, tacking, docking, and basic navigation. Sail Canada certified course.
Intermediate Cruising
A 6-day liveaboard course where you'll spend your days with your instructor and fellow crew, gaining real hands-on experience on multi-day passages. This is your stepping stone to an independent sailing life.

Junior Skippers — $850 + tax
Ages 14–17 · 6 days over 3 weeks · 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM · Max 6 students. Earn your Sail Canada Basic Crew Standard certification with 30 hours of hands-on keelboat training. Professional instruction, all materials, safety equipment, and program extras included. Scholarship available.
